WHAT IS A BYP PLAN?
BYP or Bring Your Phone plans, are plans that IT&E offers individuals who wish to enjoy the full experience of the widest network in Guam and the Marianas, without needing to purchase a new device.
WHO CAN AVAIL OF THIS PROMOTION?
Anyone can avail of this offer if they are using their own device to sign up or renew services at IT&E.
IS A CONTRACT REQUIRED IF I WANT TO SIGN UP FOR SERVICES USING MY OWN DEVICE?
No. A contract is not required; subscribers can choose to remain on a month-to-month (MTM) basis.
However, subscribers who choose to sign up or renew services on a contract term with their own device, get access to even greater benefits such as:
- Earn up to 2000 Bonus PACIFICPOINTS
- One FREE month of service for 12-month contracts
- Two FREE months of service for 24-month contracts

DO I STILL NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT IF I AM USING MY OWN DEVICE?
No. BYP subscribers do not need to pay a security deposit for activating or renewing services using their own devices.
CAN I STILL AVAIL OF SPECIAL GROUP DISCOUNTS IF I AM USING MY OWN DEVICE?
Yes! BYP subscribers can still avail of their Special Group Discount (Student, Teacher, Military, First Responder) on select BYP plans. However, if you are availing of discount towards your monthly service charge, you will not be eligible for the free months of service offer.
WHEN DO I GET MY BONUS PACIFICPOINTS?
BYP subscribers who activate or renew services with a 12 or 24-month contract and who opt to receive the Bonus PACIFICPOINTS offer, will have their Bonus PACIFICPOINTS credited to their PACIFICPOINTS account on the first day of the following month after they sign up or renew.
Note: PACIFICPOINTS accounts must be linked to the customer’s IT&E account PRIOR to completing the qualifying transaction for customers to get their bonus points in the following month.
CAN I RENEW MY CONTRACT EARLY TO GET A NEW PHONE?
Yes! Customers have the option to renew their BYP contracts early and purchase a new device from IT&E without having to pay any cancellation penalties or extend their new contracts. The period you can avail of this offer Is:
- 6 Months after the start of the BYP contract for customers who activate or renew on a 12-month contract term or
- 12 Months after the start of the BYP contract for customers who activate or renew on a 24-month contract term.
CAN I STILL KEEP MY NUMBER FROM ANOTHER CARRIER IF I ACTIVATE SERVICE USING MY OWN DEVICE?
Yes. Subscribers can retain their same number when they switch to IT&E from a different carrier. Plus, BYP subscribers who bring their number to IT&E and sign up on a contract will get a one-time $50 Credit applied to their account, and ANOTHER month FREE! That means you can get up to 3 months of FREE service simply for signing up on a contract, using your own device, and for bringing your number to IT&E.*
